Cult Leader Aimee Jones Running in Nevada as Republican

0

Nevada politician and Scientologist Brent Jones, who served a single term as a state assemblyman, has been sued for anti-christian ideology while promoting Scientology in his business to employees. His wife and co-owner of his magic water company, Aimee Jones, is also running for office, hoping to win the Assembly seat that her husband held until he was defeated in the 2016 election.

Jones told the Las Vegas Review-Journal in 2010 that he discovered Scientology about 17 years earlier, when he was living in Ventura County, California, and working as a successful, but unhappy, attorney.

According to the Scientology cults website, it  listed that she had completed the “L11 New Life Rundown” — a very expensive auditing level only performed at the Flag Land Base in Clearwater, Florida, which would have run Aimee about $24,000. Brent also has the L11 experience under his belt, according to Scientology’s own publications. O

nly very involved Scientologists have the chance to experience something like the L11 rundown, our experts told us and are considered “leaders” in the movement. A Christian employee of the Joneses, Grecia Echevarria-Hernandez, filed the employment discrimination lawsuit April 26 of 2016 against Affinitylifestyles.com Inc., the parent company for the Real Water brand. The complaint alleges that her employers made her watch cult videos about Scientology.

Author, Janis Gillham Grady talks about their scientology connection:  A fun story to tell – we have some mutual friends who have a second home out of state. Brent and Aimee had planned to visit with them but had to make sure it was during a time that Paul and I were not there as we are “SPs”. It was worked out that the Joneses would leave town the day Paul and I were to arrive. We arrived in time for dinner – the Joneses thought they were having dinner with our mutual friends, not knowing we were arriving in time for dinner. Of course when the Brent and Aimee found out dinner included the Gradys, they could no longer join our mutual friends for dinner! Well, it just so happens there is only one real restaurant in this little town we were visiting – so what did the Joneses do to avoid Paul and me, they called in their food order and while the mutual friends, Paul, and I were enjoying a nice sit down meal, they sent their teenage son in to pick up their food in order to avoid bumping into us!

David Schoen is running against Jones in the Republican Primary.

Joe Bastianich to Close All Of Batali’s Restaurants in Las Vegas

0

Mario Batali’s three Las Vegas Strip restaurants will shut down July 27, officials said Friday, as the celebrity chef faces sexual misconduct allegations from multiple women.

Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group partner Joe Bastianich sent a letter to nearly 300 workers about the closures of Carnevino Italian Steakhouse, B&B Ristorante and Otto Enoteca e Pizzeria at The Venetian and Palazzo resorts. He promised to visit the restaurants to speak to employees.

The letter said Las Vegas Sands Corp., which owns both properties, was ending the business relationship. Sands Corp. issued a statement confirming the closure.

The move came days after police in New York confirmed an investigation into a woman’s claim on “60 Minutes” that Batali drugged and sexually assaulted her in 2005. Batali denies assaulting the woman.

A Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group representative said the company decided to close the Las Vegas restaurants before the “60 Minutes” report aired, reported the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which is owned by the family of Sands chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson.

Batali stepped down in December from daily operations at his restaurant empire and cooking show “The Chew” after four women accused him of inappropriate touching over a period of 20 years.

Batali has apologized for those encounters.

Within the day, a Twitter user responded that he had found Mr. Kamimori and posted a photo and called LVMPD.

Chris Giunchigliani Criticizes Vegas Sheriff’s Response to Shooting

0

The deadliest mass shooting in the nation’s modern history has put the current Las Vegas Sheriff, Joe Lombardo in a negative spotlight, landing criticism against him from both the left and right. In the Democratic Gubernatorial debate this week, Clark County Commissioners Steve Sisolak and Chris Giunchigliani brought up the incompetence of the current Sheriff

Giunchigliani brought up that  she wasn’t called by the sheriff that night and did not find out until the morning after what had happened because she got a voicemail from a staff member. This seemed concern her that the Sheriff wasn’t on the ball during the shooting and didn’t respond accordingly.

“Everybody was called. I answered the phone,” Sisolak said.

Also, in the debate she also accused Sisolak of having temporarily used his campaign logo on the fundraising page for the shooting.

Her campaign later sent The Associated Press a screenshot of the webpage appearing to show a small logo for Sisolak’s gubernatorial campaign on the fundraising page as proof.

Family Shootout Leaves Father Dead and Mother and Son on Life Support

A 15-year-old shot and killed his dad at their home in the west part of Las Vegas Thursday, according to Metro Police.

The incident, which occurred at 10:30 a.m. in the area of Desert Inn Road and Hualapai Way, involved the father, the mother, and their teen son.

Police say the father was in the garage when his son allegedly shot him in the head. Right after, the son shot the mom, wounding her, Metro said.

The mom was able to get another gun and shoot her son.

The son ran away from the scene. He was later found by a doctor who was passing by and rendered aid about half a block away from home.

The motive of the shooting is unknown. The mom and the teen are at the hospital and expected to survive.

Police are not aware of any prior disturbance calls at the home but two young neighbors who spoke to 8 News NOW said the suspected shooter was sometimes angry and would misbehave at school and at home.

“I used to play with him and his younger brother. We would shoot basket ball, ride scooters, all that kind of stuff and he’d always seem to cause a little bit of trouble. I never really saw him doing something like this,” said Nolan Turner, neighbor. “He always seemed to cause a little bit of trouble but I never really saw him, like, doing something like this cause he’s always been– he; I know he’s been odd but I never saw him like being capable of this. I never saw it in a million years.”

“The older brother would always mess around with me and I would have to like scream at him sometimes, but nothing more than that. He would always throw stuff at me and I would like yell at him,” neighbor Tasanee Denino said. “Me and him weren’t really like friends cause I never really liked him.

Karen Castro, Reporter: “And you said he would throw things at you?
Tasanee Denino: “Yeah, like he use to throw like grapes at me on the bus and im like ‘wow’. It was; he was pretty messed up.

Police said no one else was in the home at the time of the shooting. The identities of the family members have not been released but property records show the house is owned by Michele and Warren Spielmann.

Why Republicans Are Opposing Joe Lombardo for Sheriff

* In 2014 the Metro’s rank and file opposed Lombardo and supported Larry Burns. Lombardo won thanks to the casino money and the unions.
* Four years later the rank and file still do not support Lombardo. Why?
* Lombardo disbanded the gang unit and crime rose; four years later Lombardo says there is no strong hold of MS-13 in Clark County but soon after 10 murders are linked to MS-13 in the LV Valley in the last year and FIVE MS-13 members were arrested just this year.
* In 2016 Lombardo was the ONLY Sheriff in ALL of Nevada not to OPPOSE Question 1. It has been reported repeatedly in private meetings Lombardo supported the Michael Bloomberg groups that brought in $25 MILLION to pass Question 1.
* In 2017 Lombardo publically supported firearm magazine capacity another target for the anti gun groups. So he sided TWICE with leftist progressives.
* In 2017 Lombardo was scolded and threatened to lose funding if he did not cooperate with the Feds on illegal immigration; another leftist progressive slant for a supposed republican.
* Lombardo has not provided answers to TOO MANY questions on the October 1st shooting. He has fought against releasing information even after a court order. What is he hiding? Could it be the truth will hurt his campaign for reelection? If not, then release the court ordered information.
* Lombardo is a RINO

Isn’t it time the PEOPLE decided who will be Sheriff instead of the casinos?

Lets send a clear message that just because a sitting Sheriff has never lost reelection in Clark County does not mean it can’t happen. Let’s send the message to tell Sheriffs they work for the PEOPLE of Clark County not the casinos.

Lets send that message by voting for the ONLY qualified candidate that has a chance to beat Lombardo. The candidate that has lived up to his Oath as a Marine and in Law Enforcement, including command roles, the candidate that has relevant educational degrees and broad experience in law enforcement. Lets support and vote for Tim Bedwell for Sheriff to send that very clear message the casinos do not own the Sheriff.

Please be aware the more time there is the more that will come out about Lombardo. Lets not give him reelection on June 12th. He needs 50% + 1 vote. Lets send this to the general election in November. So vote Bedwell for Sheriff

New Neo-Nazi Band Launched by Banned Cody Elliott aka Cody Laveau

The Elliotts in their Goth Stage

After being exposed as a card carrying Neo-Nazi and lover of all things Hitler, the lead singer of Desire the Fire Cody Elliott has changed his name (again), and is attempting to launch a new metal band in the Vegas area after being banned from every single venue. Now, the former Cody Elliot, is Cody Laveau, with a new hairdo and look.

This came after last year when Cody Elliot’s wife, Kayla, started on a tirade on Facebook, attacking everyone from chubby women to black folks, and then making it clear in numerous posts she was also, like her husband, was a huge Neo-Nazi. The band initially defended her, saying that it was her “right” to express racist feelings, and then claimed her account was hacked.

Afterwards photos of the two with Nazi Memorabilia and saluting Nazi flags showed up on Facebook.

Criminal records from LVMPD and the courts show that Cody Elliot aka Cody Laveau has had numerous arrests in Vegas and has been charged with everything from assaulting women to harassing tourists on the strip “while dressed up as a member of the KISS band.” This stuff you can’t make up.

Anti-Christian GOP Candidate Brent Jones Accused of Forcing Employee to Participate in Cult

0

Brent Jones, a Republican running for Lieutenant Governor of Nevsada and mainly known for his Real Water brand is in hotter water today after another employee of his company accused him of not only being extremely anti-Christian but also forcing employees to watch videos related to a cult that Jones says he is a member of.

In 2016, Grecia Echevarria-Hernandez, 27, filed the employment discrimination lawsuit against against Jones and his Real Waterr The complaint alleges that her employers made her watch videos with “religious undertones” from Scientology. She says as a Christian, her religion was attacked and for her to receive raises she was forced to watch videos about the Scientology Cult.

Because Echevarria-Hernandez told her employers she was Christian, and refused to watch the videos, she was never eligible for a promotion or raise, she claims. She said that other employees who were anti-Christian were harassing her.

Now Jones’ campaign manager Jeramy Edgel is accusing him of the same thing. According to the Nevada Independent, while working for Jones, he was forced to attend cult-meetings including a “boot camp” and forced Edgel to “essentially required those closest to him to embrace his religious beliefs.” Included in this was a special cult-ceramony called a “Purifcation Rundown” that is been called by medical experts not only a fraud, but dangerous.

Jones claims there is religious freedom in the Company, and that the Scientology videos are not “religious” in nature. However, Scientology is banned as a religious cult in many Countries including Germany, Sweden and Russia.

Monte Carlo completes Rebrand to Park MGM on the Las Vegas Strip

Named to invoke the Place du Casino in Monte Carlo, after more than two decades bearing the name, the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino at South Las Vegas Boulevard has transformed into the Park MGM. With the lighting of the new marquee and most of the hotel tower signs in place, the name change took place on Wednesday, May 9.

The rebrand includes a partnership between MGM Resorts International and Sydell Group.

Upon completion of the brand conversion of the 32-floor, 3,000-room hotel central Strip property, the project will reportedly comprise Park MGM and NoMad Las Vegas, a standalone boutique hotel with 292 guest rooms and suites, private swimming pool, casino and a NoMad restaurant and NoMad Bar, which will encompass the 360 foot tower’s top four floors, according to the press release.

Those wishing to check in to the new NoMad Las Vegas will, however, have to wait several months before they can do so. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that the transition will be complete by fall this year.

Drawing its inspiration from the original NoMad Hotel in New York, Sydell Group will reportedly collaborate on the design of NoMad Las Vegas with renown French designer Jacques Garcia who previously oversaw the design of the original NYC property.

Sydell Group founder and CEO, Andrew Zobler, said, “It’s a very special moment seeing this ambitious idea begin to come to life.” Adding that, “Together with MGM, we were able to rethink every element of the guest experience and create something personal on a grand scale.”

For its part, MGM Resorts Chairman and CEO Jim Murren, said, “The opening of Park MGM, and soon NoMad, will tie together the entire neighborhood we’ve created with The Park, T-Mobile Arena and CityCenter. We are grateful to Andrew and the team at Sydell Group for sharing our vision to deliver a destination that embraces its surroundings and speaks to a new generation of travelers,” according to MGM.

MGM is reportedly investing upwards of $550 million on the complete makeover that was announced late in 2016 and began with the Lance Burton Theatre, which after being torn down opened as the 5,200-seat, 150,000 square foot Park Theater in December 2016.

Other changes that have already been unveiled include the opening of Primrose Restaurant and Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar, the addition of meeting and convention space, a new look lobby and casino floor, three new pools with lounge areas and multiple bars, the new Juniper Cocktail Lounge, reimagined guest rooms and suites and Moneyline Sports Book & Bar.

The transformation will continue throughout this year as a new dining concept from Roy Choi will open, along with an Eataly marketplace, the launch of Lady Gaga’s special engagement at Park Theater and more.

President and COO of Park MGM, Patrick Miller, said, “It’s really going to be something different, not just for the Las Vegas visitor but to Las Vegans,” according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
