The Golden Tiki will celebrate its first anniversary on Sunday, July 24 with the debut of Frank Marino’s shrunken head and a raffle for a trip for two to Hawaii. Guests are also invited to enjoy Sunday specials throughout the month of July leading up to the anniversary celebration.
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating our one year anniversary with Frank Marino and to be recognized as one of the best tiki bars in America,” said Branden Powers, Golden Tiki managing partner. “We couldn’t have done this without the support of the Las Vegas community, and we look forward to many more years of serving our loyal guests.”
Frank Marino of Divas Las Vegas will unveil his own likeness as a shrunken head at 6:30 p.m. during the July 24 celebration.
Created exclusively for The Golden Tiki’s cabinet of curiosities, the head was sculpted over the course of four weeks referencing photos of Marino to ensure physical inaccuracies. Powers will be on hand to present the honor.
Guests will also be entered to win a trip for two to Hawaii during the July 24 celebration. Entry is free for each person who signs up. The drawing will take place at midnight on July 25, and winner must be present to win.
Leading up to July 24, every Sunday night from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., guests are treated to free tiki punch with local ID and a limited edition $300 tiki diablo mug giveaway at midnight with free raffle tickets given out starting at 9 p.m.
