0

Las Vegas Metro Police arrested Felipe Ramirez, 36 and charged him with raping a 7-year old boy he was taking care of.

According to police, he has “volunteered” to watch a woman’s kids for several days alone in 2015, while the mother was away seeking medical treatment. While watching the boy, he sexually assaulted him multiple times

Records show he is being held without bail at the Clark County Detention center facing four charges of Sexual Assault against a Child under the age of 14.  His first hearing is set for May 16th.

Vegas, Don’t Click on Google Doc Share!

0

You just can’t trust anyone these days, not even an official looking notification hosted on Google’s own domains: A recent attack used a legitimate looking OAth request to get folks to hand over the keys to their email castle.

The invitiation came disguised as a shared Google Doc invitation:

Unwary recipients were then taken to a page asking them to authorize their account with “Google Docs,” which seems odd but no different than a variety of other services ask for on the web. Clicking OK then granted the attacker access to the user’s GMail account, letting the attack further propagate. Someone else had registered an application with the Google Drive username, which is why the attack was able to take place on Google own servers.

Fortunately, it looks like the mischievous account has since been suspended, but not before a number of users were already caught up in the attack.

Hyde Nightclub host rape trial starts, Defense claims women wanted it.

0

Imagine going to a top Vegas club, expecting the staff there to at least partially protect you from the scumbags that might try to assault you – only to find out that one of the people hosting at the club is a possible rapist.

That’s what happened, according to prosecutors, to a 25 year old woman who went to the Hyde nightclub at the Bellagio, in 2014 and found herself allegedly drugged and raped by an almost 50-year old host with the club, one Frederick Richards.

According to his attorney, part of his business was going home with women every night, despite working with the club. This case was no different, because the woman, despite being drunk and a little loopy, wanted to go home with a man twice her age.

The case however gets trickier: after a DNA test, it was found that there was a match on at least two other cases out of Los Angeles, for a previously unknown assailant, which turns out also to be Richards.

Richard remembers those other two women, and despite not even turning himself in, claims they also were willing participants, and he is not a rapist.

He’s still in jail on $5 million bond, and not getting out anytime soon unless found not-guilty.

Embassy Nightclub in Vegas Scene of Violent Attack

0

Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a violent knife attack on three men at the Embassy Nightclub, leaving one in critical condition.

Police said they had received a call from a woman who said she had been with friends who were attacked outside the nightclub, after a disagreement with another patron.

Embassy is known for its urban and Latin flavor nights, and has become a hot spot for locals who are into everything from ganster rap to reggaeton.

A LVMPD source told PaceVegas that the club has been the subject of more than a few complaints over the last two years since opening related to gang activity, but that the owners have been receptive to working with the police.

NOTE: Management of Embassy Nightclub has informed the media, we are told, that the incident did not occur in relation to the nightclub itself and that all reports of that are fake.

Raiders Buy Land for Stadium

The Raiders officially purchased land in Las Vegas on Monday that will eventually house their $1.9 billion stadium.

Clark County (Nev.) Commissioner Steve Sisolak announced the Raiders and the NFL closed escrow on the proposed 62-acre stadium site, where the team will play beginning in 2020. According to state records, the Raiders bought the land for $77.5 million, which turns out to be a bargain for Mark Davis.

The Las Vegas Sun reported the original asking price for the land was $100 million.

The Raiders’ land, which has been the team’s preferred site all along, is located just west of I-15, near Polaris Avenue and Russell Road, just west of Mandalay Bay.

What we know about Trump Las Vegas Hotel Arsonist Roger Fraley

0

While everyone assumed that the attempt to burn down Trump Las Vegas Hotel was politically motivated, it turns out the man involved was just a douche.

Police were called to the hotel originally after employees called security saying that they say him walking around with two toasters and acting crazy.

He told LVMPD Officers that he was messed up after walking around all night, doing narcotics, being burnt out in the sun and wanted to see what “dumb fuckery” he could get into.

One friend of his, who wanted to remain anonymous, said that Fraley had come in the last few years from Ohio, and wanted to be in the club industry — and jumped around from job to job.

While he currently sits in jail, his Facebook page has had less than nice comments from people including one death threat.

Man wins $161M+ for being beat by Marquee club security.

David Moradi, a former New York fund manager, has won $160,500,000 in a lawsuit against the Las Vegas Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in connection with a beating that occurred in the Marquee Day and Nightclub.

Moradi’s attorneys claimed successfully, that after the manager and security approached him in the club about a “problem with his signature” that they threw him violently on the grown and slammed his head on the hard surface.

According to the suit, security guards and a manager repeatedly bashed his head into concrete while demanding to see his ID again. The suit notes that security had no authority to imprison and detain Mr. Moradi.

Moradi could be awarded more, as the punitive damages part comes later next week.

New Law Might Allow Marijuana Clubs in Vegas, but Feds Might Crack Down.

0

A bill has passed the Nevada Senate that would allow local governments to issue licenses for clubs and lounges to allow smoking of Marijuana.

The tourist-centric bill was drafted because there is not a current place where people can meet and smoke pot. Under this law, if passed in the Assembly, and signed by the Governor, tourists could purchase an ounce of marijuana and then go to a public space and smoke it. Currently, only smoking in your house is allowed.

“Tourists don’t have a home in Nevada,” state Sen. Tick Segerblom, the bill’s sponsor, said Tuesday, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal. “We’re trying to get $70 million in tax revenue from them. So let’s give them some place to use it.”

Opponents of the bill say the law passed in Nevada allowing smoking of pot, was specifically done in order to allow in private residences. Also, they are considered this law could make Nevada a target of the US Justice Department. Both Attorney General Jeff Sessions and press secretary Sean Spicer have both indicated that there is a desire within the administration to crack down on recreational marijuana in particular.
