Not happy with charging $500 for dumplings, and adding soy sauce to everything, David Chang has decided to take on “Spit Roasting” with the anticipated opening of David Chang’s Bāng Bar on April 1.
Bang Bar, which already has a location in New York, will be part of The Cosmopolitan’s Block 16 Urban Food Hall.
“We are grateful for the support of the local community over the past four years and we look forward to deepening our ties even further with Bang Bar,” Chang said in a statement. “We are excited to open an additional Momofuku spot at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Bang Bar is one of the craziest concepts we’ve come up with and I’m excited to offer our Las Vegas guests an accessible, on-the-go option.”
Chang and the Momofuku group operate three other restaurants in Las Vegas: Momofuku also at The Cosmopolitan and Moon Palace and Majordomo Meat & Fish at The Palazzo.
