Yes, Taco Bell is going to be serving alcoholic drinks in Las Vegas, in what will become their flagship location.
The new Las Vegas Taco Bell Cantina will be centrally-located on the Las Vegas Strip on Harmon Corner, directly across from CityCenter and The Cosmopolitan Hotel.
Taco Bell Cantinas serve shareable dishes, beer, wine, sangria and liquor-infused slushie drinks dubbed Twisted Freezes.
Eight flavors will be available in Las Vegas. Alcohol choices include rum, tequila or vodka. Some current flavors are the “Mountain Dew Baja Blast,” “Cantina Punch” and the “Cantina Margarita,” Taco Bell said. Freezes can be ordered without alcohol, as well.
“Expansion into urban markets is a key focus for us both this year and over the course of the next several years,” said Brian Niccol, Chief Executive Officer at Taco Bell Corp. “When we talked about where to establish a flagship store, it didn’t take long to realize that having a presence in the heart of Vegas would undoubtedly create a unique, distinctive and fun destination and experience for Taco Bell fans.”
According to Eater Las Vegas: “What happens in Vegas isn’t staying in Vegas, though — Taco Bell has plans to expand its Cantina concept (which is currently two locations strong) to other markets. The Vegas location will be the Cantina’s first flagship. Taco Bell Cantina debuted in Chicago last September, and a San Francisco outpost followed a few weeks later.”
