Crazy Flaming Drink Almost Kills Two Patrons at Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen.

0

Weware the Rum Donkey! A flaming drink at Chef Gordon Ramsay’s new Las Vegas Strip restaurant injured two patrons last Thursday at Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen.

PageSix says that the restaurant has been tight-lipped about the incident except to say that the flaming drink in question is no longer on the menu.

Gordon Ramsay has admitted that in the past, patrons have asked him to do some strange things to “enhance” their dining experience such as using cocaine, but many people don’t recognize the dark side of the drug.

“I’ve been asked to dust cocaine on top of soufflés, to put it on as icing sugar…coke’s everywhere. Gordon on Cocaine. It’s spiraling out of control.”

The Rum Donkey is made with Cruzan Single Barrel Rum, falernum, brown sugar, ginger beer, and torched passion fruit.

Clark County Fire Deputy Chief Jon Klassen is confirming that two patrons were transported to the hospital, but he says that there was no fire to extinguish when firefighters arrived.

KTNV reported that a patron at the bar of Ramsay’s restaurant was on fire according to Vital Vegas on Twitter.

“May not hear this elsewhere, but customer at Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars reports someone at bar was just ‘engulfed in flames.’ EMT on-site.”

Jennifer Forkish, a rep with Caesars Entertainment, released a statement about the event that took place at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen on The Strip after seemingly trying to hide it.

“Unfortunately, two guests were injured at Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars Palace last night. We stand ready to provide any assistance they may need to help them through this difficult time.

The particular type of specialty drink offered at Hell’s Kitchen is served at the finest restaurants worldwide without incident. But, out of an abundance of caution, Hell’s Kitchen has removed the drink item at issue from the menu.

All of us here at Caesars Palace and the Gordon Ramsay Restaurant Group are concerned for the injured guests, and are hopeful for their speedy recovery.”

Did MGM Hide Another Mandalay Bay Shooter?

0

In a press conference in Newport Beach, an attorney representing some of the victims is claiming that Mandalay Bay and MGM hid another case of a shooter that may have been targeting mass amounts of people in Las Vegas.

According to the LVRJ “One of the six weapons found inside Kye Aaron Dunbar’s 24th-floor hotel room on Nov. 29, 2014, was a scoped rifle pointing toward the Strip, court documents say. He pleaded guilty in September 2015 to a count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and was sentenced in January 2016 to 40 months in prison with an additional three years of supervised release.”

MGM is suing the one-thousand victims in hopes of avoiding liability claims citing a 2002 law established after the 9-11 terrorists attacks.

Victims are pointing out that MGM knew of the risk, and should have taken additional effort to prevent this from happening again.

Gwen Stefani Hits Back at Claims of Residency Failure in Vegas

0

Gwen Stefani has hit back at PaceVegas’ reports that her residency at Caesars is not doing well. With reports that they are selling seats as much as 75% off on discount sites, many critics have pointed that the days of high priced residencies may be a thing of the past.

“The reaction to [Stefani’s] ‘Just a Girl’ residency has been nothing short of overwhelming,” Caesars and Live Nation told “Page Six TV.”

Still, we found some shows a week in advance with as many as 25% of the tickets going on discount. For a show that just started, this is usually considered a bad sign. Residencies are supposed to be the “hottest ticket” in Vegas, and this means they can’t even give away tickets to their gamblers.

SLS Rebrand of Grand Sahara Resort will also Target Hispanics

0

The new owner of the failed SLS Hotel & Casino Las Vegas is reportedly looking to rebrand the property as Grand Sahara Resort as part of a planned $100-million renovation and upgrade according to Scott Roeben of Vital Vegas.

Alex Meruelo, the owner,  has previously said that they planned to rebrand the hotel and casino complex, but has not revealed what its new name would be but it was  reported earlier this week that the Grand Sahara name was used in interior remodeling paperwork the property’s new owners have filed with the city earlier this month. The Meruelo Group currently owns the similarly branded Grand Sierra Resort & Casino in Reno, which it purchased back in 2006.

The reported new name of the casino property refers back to the days when it was quite popular with visitors of the Strip. The SLS originally opened doors in 1952 as Sahara Hotel and was the sixth resort on the emblematic Las Vegas Strip.

Once its remodeling is complete and it resumes operations, the Grand Sahara will look to attract new groups of customers, with a focus on Hispanics. Mr. Meruelo, who is Cuban, said he would be creating not yet announced restaurants and facilities that would target that audience.

It has been reported by several outlets that it looks like all of the restaurants that are affiliated with the SLS will be kicked out as part of the rebrand.

Dan Bilzerian Accused of Breaking Law by Impersonating Police with Fake Badge and ID

0

Last year during the October 1st shoot, the onfamous Instagram playboy Dan Bilzerian asked for the weapon of a LVMPD officer claiming to be a law enforcement officer himself – turns out he simply paid for phony police credentials and was breaking the law. After the officer complained to his superior, it prompted an investigation on how the self-admitted cocaine addict was carrying a badge.

The fake “police department” wasn’t even open.

Larry Barker for KRQE investigated the agency which issued Bilzerian’s police credentials and found out it was completely fraudulent. It was uncovered that a small town of only 430 people, Lake Arthur, New Mexico, established an “all-reserve police force” supposedly to help keep order in the community – however, no training was required to join the force, only a $400 fee needed to be paid. The majority of the recruits don’t even live in the state of New Mexico.

In response, we have been told that Law Enforcement in Vegas has seized the fake badges and IDs of Bilzerian as part the investigation into the pay for badges scheme. Sourceswithin LVMPD have told us that they received “several” complaints about Bilzerian carrying guns and badges and were looking into it.

KRQE reports that the town’s fake uncertified “Police Chief” Will Norwood gave out law enforcement credentials to his friends and quasi-celebrities from around the country in exchange for $400 per year “dues.”  None of the badges gave them any actual law enforcement powers, but it seems that Bilzerian and others believed it may have.
