First made famous in his dazzling appearance on America’s Got Talent, Smoothini, the “HipHop Houdini” (fka Ghetto Houdini) is making waves and lots of buzz. So much that Hulu has picked up his entire season 1 that can now be streamed over and over again.
Fuse TV’s awesome magic show finds “uber-talented hip-hop magician Smoothini” working his powers on slightly unsuspecting rappers from all over. Rapeprs like Iggy Azale and Lil Jon (also of Las Vegas) go nuts when Smoothini tricks them with his in-the-face street magic.
Smoothini, born Tomas De La Cruz served the United States Marine Corps overseas. According to his bio, He originally got his start in New York City performing close-up illusions with a mix of adult humor in Spanish and Japanese.
In this edition of Hip-Hop Houdini‘s Teaches a Trick— Waka Flocka Flame is tasked with learning Smoothini’s “The Reappearing Match Trick” and having to show the trick to his family and friends.
