There is sad news for the fans of the Hard Rock Café near their casino on Paradise. Despite only opening in 2009, as one of the most anticipated state of the art Hard Rock Cafes in the world, it didn’t ever catch on.
The Company released the following statement: “Since opening the doors of its first Las Vegas cafe location in 1990, Hard Rock International has been and continues to be committed to Las Vegas. On December 31, 2016, the Hard Rock Cafe location adjacent to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas (located at 4475 Paradise Road) will be closing. The closing marks a strategic decision by the brand to focus efforts in the market on Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas Strip and Hard Rock LIVE Las Vegas, located at 3771 South Las Vegas Blvd. Employees of the closing cafe will be given priority consideration for open positions at the Las Vegas Strip cafe and LIVE venue.”
This comes only a few weeks after a major shakeup at Hard Rock Café International with their CEO being ousted after a buyout by the Seminole Tribes of Florida.
According to a press release, the company plans to focus its efforts on Hard Rock Cafe and Hard Rock LIVE on the Las Vegas Strip.
