The Master Chefs of France Take over Palazzo

On Friday evening, Oct. 7, The Palazzo Las Vegas welcomed Love & Vine, held under the stars at Azure Pool at The Palazzo.  The new culinary event celebrated the fall harvest crush, featuring wine and food pairings from renowned winemakers and Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, or Master Chefs of France.

azure-64-of-98The evening unfolded with a welcome toast from the chefs at the red carpet before acclaimed wineries Moet & Chandon, Ladoucette, M. Chapoutier, Bott Frères, Trimbach, Nicolas Feuillatte, Remy Pannier, Domaine Gadais and Chateau Timberlay began pouring.

The Master Chefs of France paired exquisite bites and desserts to compliment the fine vintages that were enjoyed poolside.

Participating Master Chefs of France included:

  • Thomas Bellec  (Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel, Beverly Hills, California)
  • Olivier Dubreuil (Executive Chef of The Venetian and The Palazzo)
  • Jean-Louis Dumonet (The Union Club of the City of New York, New York, New York)
  • Jean Joho (Everest, Chicago, Illinois)
  • Claude Le-Tohic (Claude Le-Tohic  San Francisco, California)
  • Fabrice Marcon (Left Bank Restaurant, arkspur,California)
  • Roland Passot  (La Folie, San Francisco, California)
  • Johann Springinsfeld (Executive pastry chef of The Venetian and The Palazzo)
  • David Werly (Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas, Nevada).

The pool deck sparkled with a chandelier hanging above the pool and beautiful wine inspired displays throughout.

The Master Chefs of France is an organization dedicated to preserve and spread the French culinary arts, encourage training in cuisine and assist in personal development.
