Take a Sneak Peak at Morimoto Las Vegas at the MGM Grand

We’ve been waiting for years for Morimoto to come to Las Vegas. As a native New Yorker, Morimoto used to be one of our favorite places, a hang out of sorts. Originally slated over two years ago to take the space in the MGM Mirage where Japonais sits, it finally is going to arrive this fall. To say we are excited to be there regularly is an understatement indeed.

We were able to take a sneak peak at the amazing food  that will be at Morimoto, and so far there is nothing that doesn’t look beyond amazingly good. As in “beyond amazingly good,” we mean “we died and went to heaven” good. Like, we might kill someone for this food, good. Amazing.

Check it out below. Wow.

m1

Kakuni- “Simmered Square” ten hour braised pork belly with a scallop rice congee, garnished with fried burdock root and spring onion

m2

Wagyu beef Carpaccio- yuzu-citrus soy sauce, garlic, ginger, chives, and finished micro cilantro and mitsuba.

Yellowtail Pastrami- rubbed with shichimi togarashi powder served with a gin crème fraiche, candied olives, and a rye crouton
