More not so good news for the SLS Las Vegas, which has had a string of really bad failures, topped with the closing of part of their hotel. Unfortunately another one of their short-lived restaurants is closing, this time Chef Andre’s Ku Noodle. According to a release from the SLS, they were closed due to a mutual understanding of some sort – which means it wasn’t making money.
Billed as “Asian comfort food for the soul,” the restaurant was considered a casual place with handmade noodle and dumplings. According to food expert Michael Uzmann, the restaurant was “Undoubtedly facing an uphill battle in a city where cheap meats and ramen shops speckle Spring Mountain Road, Ku Noodle presents an upscale option for those willing to invest in quality ingredients, innovation, and presentation.”
No replacement for the restaurant has been announced.
