Jokesters Comedy Club at Bally’s Hotel & Casino opened to packed houses for comedian Don Barnhart and continues with nightly performances.
Named “Best Bet” by the Las Vegas Review Journal, comedian Don Barnhart packs them in for the grand opening of Jokester’s Comedy Club at Bally’s in Las Vegas.
Continuing his run with shows nightly at 9:30pm, Don Barnhart’s DeEvolution of Man Stand Up Comedy Tour is as entertaining as it is poignant. Barnhart was named the 2015 Best Comedy Show in Las Vegas by Vegas’ Best Businesses, the award-winning comedian and best-selling author’s comedy show combines well-written, topical material that keeps audiences of all ages howling with laughter and coming back for more.
Barnhart takes audiences on a comedy thrill ride exploring the waning tide of male gender identification and man’s declining role in modern day society in a way that is hysterical, highly entertaining and thought provoking and Don videos have just under a million views on YouTube.
Picking up where Bob Hope left off, Don is also prepping to bring his Battle Comics to Afghanistan and Iraq to entertain the men and women serving in the war torn country before returning to Vegas for even more shows.
Over the last year, Barnhart’s film career has really been gaining steam as he stars in the documentary, Finding The Funny with Brad Garret and Louie Anderson and plays a rather disgruntled, road weary comedian in the upcoming comedy film, Tribute To Fluffy. Don also appears as the crazed shooter in the new web series, Max Justice.
Don just wrapped production on the cannabis comedy Reefer Rendum and is currently in preproduction on the new comedy film, The Freeloader, which he wrote and stars in. The movie will begin shooting in Las Vegas at the end of 2016 and is based on Barnhart’s book of the same name. Barnhart’s character, a returning Vet, becomes the Robin Hood of the Homeless as he finds his way back into society.
Barnhart is also the author of the new book, Finding Your Funny, which just hit Amazon’s “Best Seller” list. In it, Don shares his personal experiences, pitfalls and successes as a 25-year veteran of the comedy industry. Finding Your Funny also features interviews and quotes about the comedy business from bookers, agents, managers and some famous and not so famous comedians and other performers.
Jokesters Comedy Club is located inside the Windows Showroom at Bally’s Las Vegas. Showtimes are 7 nights per week, 9:30 pm. Reservations or tickets can be purchased on line at http://jokesterscomedy.com or directly at the club.
Don is the founder of The Las Vegas Comedy Institute and when he’s not on tour, he teaches stand up, improv and comedy to the next generation of comedians.
