Good stuff from two good guys Bryce Krausman and Dalton Wilson, as DW Bistro Re-Opens at their new location. While the mega-market and restaurant plan they originally had was canceled, everyone in the area is still very happy that they are back doing what they do best: including myself, who occasionally enjoys their amazing food with my son who loves their Mac N’ Cheese.
DW Bistro seemed like a unlikely restaurant in an area that once was barren with good restaurants. However, they took a chance and started a revolution in the South West when no one was willing to invest that type of money and experience into a good restaurant. Whenever anyone talks about where to eat for locals who love good food, a great brunch, DW Bistro is the place to go.
Las Vegas weekly had one of the best reviews of DW:
This food is as aggressive and fun as anything you’ll find across the country. This is Jamaica meets New Mexico, a culinary combo so potent and fresh that it feels distinctly American. Jerk fried chicken and waffles. Slow-cooked pork simmered in New Mexico chilies with eggs and rice. Vegas is lucky it gets to enjoy this adventure every weekend. And like all the other aforementioned fantastic brunch restaurants, DW Bistro makes it feel like it’s not a big deal.
While I was unfortunately without a babysitter for their opening, veteran food reporter and my friend, Al Mancini was there and provided some photos of the event.
