Bratalian Restaurant Re-Opens After Destruction

chefcarlaGreat news for the beautiful and talented Chef Carla Pellegrino who almost lost her restaurant when a truck crashed through the front. However, thanks to community support and her undying dedication to Las Vegas, it has reopened.

According to Gayot.com: “ Carla Pellegrino and her sister, Alessandra Madeira, are behind BRATALIAN in Henderson. The name implies a Brazilian/Italian theme, though the dishes are mostly Italian. Pellegrino is the former executive chef at Rao’s at Caesars Palace, and Madeira was a chef at Baldoria in New York and has worked alongside her sister as a sous chef. The morning menu includes “The Shrek Skillet” — Basquaise-style roasted potatoes, Champignon mushrooms, spinach, Italian sausage, smoked gouda, bacon strips and three sunny side-up or scrambled eggs. Dinner options range from salmon in harissa sauce to veal saltimbocca to pan-seared New York steak.
