I really hate the idea of Sushi Burritos, partially because they seem like a crappy way to hide poor quality fish with mayonnaise and other junk. However, when I heard about Tail and Fin, a new restaurant opening that is focused on quality fish being included, I couldn’t help paying attention.
Tail & Fin is a Japanese-inspired restaurant that combines raw fish with other worldly cultures wrapped in a sushi burrito or mixed in a poke bowl.
The visionary behind Tail & Fin’s menu is Executive Chef, Karu Wedhas.
Wedhas is notable for his years of experience working around the world in Beijing, Malibu, and here in Las Vegas under Chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
What sets Tail & Fin apart from its competition is the owners’ vision of bringing together a luxurious atmosphere with a fast and convenient business model without comprising the quality of the food and service.
The restaurant will open on Thursday, September 1st and will be located at 9845 S. Maryland Parkway Suite B.
I do indeed plan to try this restaurant and see if quality fish, amazing service makes a difference when it comes to “Sushi Burritos.”
