Lee Canyon will open for the 2026-27 winter season on Friday, November 20, according to KSNV News 3 Las Vegas. The ski area is debuting three new lifts, including the Wild West Bowl chairlift, as part of a seven-year transformation that has involved $30 million in investment.

The Wild West Bowl adds six new trails for intermediate and advanced riders, reached from the base via the Bluebird chairlift, with operations starting Saturday, December 12, News 3 reported. "The Wild West Bowl chair increases our skiable vertical drop to 1,000 feet," general manager Josh Bean told the station.

Daily lift tickets start as low as $9, but prices rise after Tuesday, November 10, according to the report. The resort has also revamped the food and drink menus at the Bighorn Grill and Bristlecone Bar, and tickets and passes are sold in advance at leecanyonlv.com.

The desk's takeEvery year tourists are shocked that you can ski a short drive from a sportsbook, and every year locals smugly keep that secret. A $9 lift ticket is the best deal in Clark County that does not involve a loss leader shrimp cocktail. Buy before Tuesday and pretend you planned it.
