Fremont Street Hired a New CEO in February. He Starts Running the Strat on November 9.
The short versionCliff Atkinson is leaving as president and CEO of Fremont Street Experience after about nine months to become president of the Strat, effective November 9. Fremont Street hasn't named a successor.

Atkinson took over Fremont Street Experience on February 17, 2026, according to Vital Vegas. He now moves to the Strat, where he succeeds Skylar Dice, who has moved to vice president and general manager at Aliante.
His resume runs through the Strip's last decade: senior vice president at MGM Resorts International, general manager of the Mandarin Oriental in San Francisco and Las Vegas, and stints at Fontainebleau and Virgin Las Vegas.
The Strat belongs to Golden Entertainment, which went private on April 30, 2026, in a deal that put its real estate with VICI Properties and the operations with CEO Blake Sartini's private company under long-term leases.
Pace's takeDowntown just priced New Year's Eve at $35 and lost its CEO in the same week. That's not a scandal. It's a signal. The tower on the north end of the Strip is a better job than the canopy downtown, and everyone in the building knows it.
