The short versionBritney Spears announced in April 2017 that her Piece of Me residency at Planet Hollywood would end when her contract ran out that December. The show opened on December 27, 2013, and her manager Larry Rudolph said her next move was undecided.

Britney Spears announced on her Las Vegas residency will end when her contract comes up in December.

“We are done with this show, and our next move is undecided,” Rudolph told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

“We are still talking with Caesars Entertainment and other interested parties in Las Vegas,” he added.

“We could have it at the needle on the top of the Stratosphere, and do the bungee jump afterward,” Rudolph said about Britney’s next move, noting that it could “conceivably be anywhere.”

“Anything is possible,” Rudolph said. “We have made zero decisions. We expect a lot of interest from all parties. Britney basically sells out every show, and she loves Las Vegas, she loves performing in Vegas, and Vegas is a possibility going forward.”

Spears’ “Piece of Me” residency opened on Dec. 27, 2013 and in 2015 extended her contract with Planet Hollywood to run through 2017.

Since then. Piece of Me closed at Planet Hollywood in December 2017, finishing with a box office record.
