Did MGM Hide Another Mandalay Bay Shooter?

In a press conference in Newport Beach, an attorney representing some of the victims is claiming that Mandalay Bay and MGM hid another case of a shooter that may have been targeting mass amounts of people in Las Vegas.

According to the LVRJ “One of the six weapons found inside Kye Aaron Dunbar’s 24th-floor hotel room on Nov. 29, 2014, was a scoped rifle pointing toward the Strip, court documents say. He pleaded guilty in September 2015 to a count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and was sentenced in January 2016 to 40 months in prison with an additional three years of supervised release.”

MGM is suing the one-thousand victims in hopes of avoiding liability claims citing a 2002 law established after the 9-11 terrorists attacks.

Victims are pointing out that MGM knew of the risk, and should have taken additional effort to prevent this from happening again.
